Yoga for the Blogger Body at Moshi Moshi Mind Odense

I went to the cutest yoga event in a small & sweet clothing store.

I hadn’t even finished writing about my first blogger event before the next invitation landed in my inbox. It’s a bit surreal, to be honest, it’s so new to me to combine real life experiences with people from the online world. I’m honoured that people suddenly want me (and my blog) to join events like this!

So Tuesday evening I jumped on my bike with a yoga mat on the back. Somehow I didn’t quite get the Los-Angeles-Chique-Lululemon-yogi look down, I was more of a panting pack mule when I arrived at Moshi Moshi Mind in Brandts Passage. I immediately knew I was at the right place when I spotted two other people carrying yoga mats (and well, I met them last time).

Yoga for Blogger Bodies

There was just enough for space to squeeze in 9 yoga mats. To guide us through an hour of easy yoga we were joined by Resi from Drop in Yoga Odense, placed just a few buildings further up the alley.

This was such an interesting experience for me; I’m not a complete beginner when it comes to yoga, but I still have so much to learn. I’m used to doing yoga videos at home, and Resi’s lovely personality and little comments throughout was a refreshing contrast to the online thing.

If you’re wondering what a blogger body is, let me explain:

A blogger’s body tend to spend a long time sitting down and staring at screens, both phone and computer ones. And not necessarily with good posture – and well, that’s really a problem for many people who has an office job or live in modern society. Resi had thought of this beforehand, so the focus was to really open up the shoulders and chest and stretch all the muscles that get tight when you sit down so much.

It was exactly what my body needed, and everyone was feeling this wonderful post-yoga bliss. At first it felt weird to be doing yoga in a store?? With people walking by and looking in all the time?? But I quickly lost those thoughts and just focused on moving and breathing. The smell was so much better than any gym I’ve been to, so that’s another plus!

What’s a Moshi Moshi?

Moshi moshi mind, pronounced mushi mushi (you know, like the sound you make when squeezing cute baby cheeks… ehm, maybe that’s just me) is a sort of lifestyle brand that goes well with the yoga vibe. After the yoga session we got to snoop around the store (while enjoying drinks, Helle was such a lovely hostess), where there’s a mix of clothes, books, beauty products, yoga mats and activewear. I loved the design, which emphazises timeless style, relaxation and quality for a mellow modern life. I even got a little crush on these pants and this sweatshirt 😍 But I can’t afford them at the moment 🙃…

However, I can always come back to the store another day and enjoy the positive atmosphere. For now I’m just grateful for the little gift we all got to take home!

Do you do yoga? Or have you ever heard of Moshi Moshi Mind before?

Gif that says lots of love, Anne xx

Wow that was strange. I just wrote an incredibly long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show up.
Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyway, just wanted to say great blog!

Hi! Sorry about that. Comments don’t always show up immediately, as they might be held for moderation to make sure spam comments doesn’t get through. I have to manually approve first time commenters comment before it shows up. However, I looked through my moderation queue, and couldn’t find your other comment :/ Thank you though!
