I actually went to the gym yesterday. And I’m going again today! That doesn’t sound like a huge deal for a fitness blogger, I know, but it is for me (being sick and injured and all).

To recharge after my workout, I made this delicious protein strawberry smoothie. It has a lovely creamy texture, and is just that much better than a regular protein shake after a workout.

BulkPowders DK was so kind to send me a whole bunch of whey protein samples (that isn’t even half of them) and a bunch of other stuff I’m currently trying out. So you can look forward to more protein recipes soon!

Strawberry Protein Smoothie Recipe

With a lovely creamy texture, this strawberry protein smoothie is perfect post-workout or just as a healthy snack!
Course: Drinks, Post-Workout, Snack

Servings: 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 2.5 dl skyr
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 handful of raspberries (frozen)
  • 1 handful of strawberries (frozen)
  • 1 scoop (25g) pure whey strawberry protein powder - from BulkPowders dk

Instructions

  • Just throw it all in a blender and blend until smooth

    As my workout and diet plan, I don’t eat more than two to three fruits a day, because they have so much sugar in them (and I gotta eat my bit of chocolate everyday). But on those days where I don’t feel like eating them “naturally”, I like making smoothis and this one looks delicious.

    I mean, who doesn’t like strawberries and raspberries or bananas?

      Haha priorities! I nearly only get my fruit from frozen berries (because money, and I don’t have to worry about it going bad) – and I try to only use bananas for sugar, just to keep my blood glucose levels unlike a lot of other people. Smoothies are always a winner for me! 😀 xx
