I Wish You A Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year

Merry Christmas guys! I hope you’re enjoying this wonderful time of the year 🎅🏻

It’s almost become a tradition that I publish a post after Christmas eve, and I’m not gonna break that tradition this year.

In Denmark Christmas is mainly celebrated on the 24th, it’s where we have an amazing dinner, dance around the Christmas tree and open presents.

This year I celebrated with my parents, 3 siblings + my brother’s girlfriend.

Here’s a few snaps from a hyggelig day.

By now, my sister and I have made hundreds (literally) of these stars, and we still make more every year.
This my mom and I independently discovered these huge (50 mm) strips – which we of course had to get. It took forever to create this, and my sister and I needed all 4 hands to control this beast – and it turned out beautiful!
The table decorations featured lots of stars as well
I was testing the camera and self release feature before our traditional family picture in front of the tree – my dad is making silly faces just to the left.
Delicious christmas cookies – my favorite are the cocoa coconut balls!

I know Christmas isn’t an easy time for everyone. I don’t think there’s one right way to celebrate it, and it’s totally okay to do it your own way. Some don’t have a loving family to celebrate with. For others, it brings up painful memories. There’s nothing wrong with that, and you are not alone. If you need help, here’s some good resources.

Hugs to all of you 💕
