Hello friends! How was your holiday?
It’s been a little quiet here on the blog because I felt like taking a break. Not just from the blog, but life in general (that sounds dramatic). What it means is that I spend my Christmas days at my parents’ place where my only worry was choosing what food to eat and what movies to watch.
I was sick the days up to Christmas – so resting was necessary. I didn’t work out a single time, I went for walks with my family. I didn’t worry about calories, I just enjoyed the good food my family and I cooked. I hugged my sister a lot. I hugged my parents because it was so good to see them again. And that’s all that matters to me.
I wanted to share a few pictures from my Christmas Eve with you, but to be honest with you I needed the break from working (both blogging and studying falls into this category for me – not because the blog is my work, but because it can be a lot of work).
The end of the year usually means it’s time for self-reflectivity and looking inwards, but for me, it’s been a time for self-doubt and anxiety. It’s been a messy year for me and I’d rather just continue to look forward and keep fighting.
Actually, I got just the thing to cheer me up and bring some positivity to this post. It’s not too late to spread a bit of festive spirit, is it?

AND WITH THAT, I JUST WANT TO WISH YOU ALL THE BEST FOR THE NEW YEAR!
No matter what you struggle with, remember you are not alone❤️

Since you made it all the way to the end, you may as well follow on Instagram as it’s the place to be!
But their algorithm is a mystery so maybe sign up for the newsletter to never miss a post! ✨
Merry (belated) Christmas & Happy New Year, sweetie!! 🙂 I think a break over the holiday season is a must. I would never be able to blog full force during that time. It’s not fair on my loved ones and on myself as well.
I hope you enjoyed your break & that you’re feeling much better <3
