It’s finally Friday, yay! I’ve had a pretty good week – I met with a physiotherapist on Monday for a small training class for people with knee injuries (perfect for me).
It’s been a long time since I had such an intense workout, my hamstrings were sore for days! Oh the pain of starting to work out regularly again.
I’m still discovering so many new and amazing blogs thanks to twitter, and some have sneaked into this week’s favorites list. Let’s have a look, shall we.
Friday Favorites #6 – Week 3

FAVORITE PHOTO: This is the photo from my instagram you liked the most this week.

FAVORITE WORKOUT: 30 Minute Lower Body Kettlebell Workout by Burpees for Breakfast. an awesome unilateral workout. Working unilateral (onesided, like lunges) is a great way to challenge your balanced and stabilizing muscles, as well as developing equal strength in both legs. And I just love kettlebell workouts!
FAVORITE VIDEO: Khan Porter ‘dancing to Beyonce’s Single Ladies like a real man’ – right here
FAVORITE MENTAL HEALTH: The 5 Things My Illness Forced Me to Learn ? That Everyone Should Know by Lindsay Sihling for Greatist. A wonderful article about how the good life doesn’t require being busy all the time, and sometimes it’s better to simply be. Appreciate what you have, instead of trying to gain back what you’ve lost – from being sick or from getting older.

FAVORITE BLOGGING: What Non-Bloggers Should Know About Sponsored Blog Content by According to Laura Jean. Busting some common myths about sponsored content and bloggers – because it’s hard to know what’s going on behind the scenes for non-bloggers.

FAVORITE FITNESS FASHION: H&M’s January sale + a gift card = More workout clothes, because it’s just impossible to have too much workout gear 😉

I have a workout question with which you might be able to help 🙂 After seeing that amazing handstand (very cool!) I thought lets ask. I’ve had weak wrists for do long… started somewhere in my teens. My wrist joint capsules are torn (I hope that makes sense in English). It’s no biggie in day to day live. I just have to be cautious and everything is a-okay. But I love doing yoga and I would love to start doing some push ups… Do you know if there are any tricks and tips for people with weak wrists? Like strengthening exercises or maybe different ways of doing those down dogs 😉 Thanks 😀
I’ve never seen that video, thank you for sharing!! Now I am going to have that song stuck in my head all day! Bhahah!
Haha it’s not the worst song to have stuck in your head – it’s just hard not to dance at the same time 😀
