About Anne & Annesmiles

Hi, and thanks for stopping by!

I’m so excited to see you here. If you’re new – welcome!

If not, welcome back!

Sports Science & Health Student who had her life turned upside down my chronic pain, and is now using that as her foundation for growth & happiness.

I’m Anne, a Sports Science and Health student with a passion for fitness and health, living in Denmark.

I love working out, although I’m in the process of recovering from a knee injury. I love strength training, running, a bit of yoga and football (that would be real football, aka soccer for you silly Americans).

You can read some fun facts and other personal stories from me here, including my battle with depression and anxiety.

A positive health & lifestyle blog focusing on holistic health & wellbeing without the stress and BS pseudoscience.

Now let me introduce you to this thing I call my blog. I make workouts, recipes, talk about self-love, opinions – and ramble about blogging.

Right from the start I’ll just tell you that I try to keep this a positive space, and if you ever have a question, or just need to chat, don’t hesitate to leave a comment here, or shoot me an email via the contact form here.

When it comes to health, I focus on all aspects of it – not just the physical. A healthy lifestyle shouldn’t bring you stress, but joy. Moderation and balance is the key.

I want to help you find joy in being active, discovering your way of living healthy with a healthy mindset – because that’s where it all starts and ends.

Some of my best posts (according to me) are Small Steps Towards Self-Love / Pull Ups and Chin Ups for Beginners / HIIT Hotel Room Workouthere are all my most popular posts at the moment.

Sometimes awesome people feature me and my blog – you can see who’s crazy enough to do that here.

Now, let’s dig deeper into the content of this blog.

Here’s an overview of the important pages, where you’ll hopefully find the information you’re looking for, or simply something helpful!

  1. Hi Anne, my name is Wendy from Vermont, USA. I found your blog so interesting. Thank you for sharing all your info about yourself. I just went through quickly, but you can be assured that I will be back when I have more time to read all your awesome information.
You have done a great job creating this blog, and it must have taken you a long time. I have wanted to start a blog, but I wouldn’t know where to start.

    Hi Anne
It’s currently snowing on your blog which I think is funny because I’m in Canada and it’s currently 60 degrees out in December. We usually have snow but it’s raining today. I’m not a fitness person but I am eating a GF lifestyle and my doctors are trying to get me out of the house to my yoga (it’s paid for) and for walks. Looking forward to reading more on your blog. mini
