I woke up at 10:27 am. My phone was ringing. Ugh. Just as I grab it, it stops. Unknown number.

*anxiety kicks in*

“Deep belly breaths, Anne.
You are not in danger.
It’s probably just someone trying to sell you something. Otherwise they’ll call again.”

I lay in bed for another hour, trying to muster the energy necessary to get up.

Music.

Music helps me calm down. Sometimes it improves my mood.

I open spotify, looking for a playlist.

“High Spirits” I choose as I force myself up.

And then this song come on. I can’t help but want to dance.

Dance like nobody’s watching.

Dance in my underwear.

Dance like I have nothing to worry about.

And I forget all the negativity in my life. At least for a little while.

Simple moments like this need to be treasured.

I was having a bad morning. Then I did this to turn my day around!! 💃💗
