Monday Motivation Week 21 – Let’s do this!

It’s time for some Monday Motivation because a new week is a chance to start over if you need it, or an opportunity to keep going when you’re on track! Also, puppies.

Hi friends!

This is the third blog post I’m writing since returning from my hiatus (Is this the correct way to use ‘hiatus’? I don’t fully know what it means but it sounds cool).

It’s nice to return to old habits. One of which is of course setting small goals for the upcoming week in my Monday Motivation-series.

What I really should do at this point is to attempt to sum up the past few months with a mix of interesting and funny highlights. But I don’t even remember what I had for lunch a couple of days ago, so it’s going to be a challenge. So let’s just talk about the past week.

Here are a few snippets of mine

…. Well the obvious one is that I returned to my online life, mainly this blog and instagram.

… I got new running shoes! I went with the Asics Gel-Nimbus 19 and I LOVE THEM!

… I’ve walked everywhere thanks to 3 flat tires in a week.

… On the upside, my new running shoes made all that walking more comfortable

… I’ve felt tired a lot and struggled to get my butt to the gym. But I’m trying to accept that my body doesn’t have as much physical and mental energy as most and not respecting my body’s limits will only make it worse.

Things I’m totally gonna do this week probably

  • Daily walks: I’m trying to build up a habit of daily walking, even if it’s just 5 minutes in the morning.
  • Get a ton of blogging done: This is my creative outlet, and writing helps me clear my head and ‘escape’ my body when it’s in pain – it lets me feel productive when my body is useless. Which is some pretty good benefits from a sort of silly hobby. And I’m grateful you’re supporting me in this by reading along.

And I'm gonna enjoy some damn ice cream, because a bikini body is whatever fucking body I put a bikini on 💁🏻🍦

  • That’s a bummer about your tires, but love the shoes!! I’ve been using my FitBit pretty consistently, but it’s been thunderstorming the past couple of days, so it’s made it difficult to get too many steps in outside of a gym. This week, I want to get a bunch of posts scheduled for my blog and work on my social media accounts 🙂
