Friday Favorites #9

Hello Friday, I have been waiting for you! You have no idea how much I’ve missed you.

It’s now been two weeks since I started studying after a mental health break. Where did all my energy go? I don’t study full-time yet (doing two-thirds of the hours for now), but it’s a challenge. I don’t understand how my classmates can manage it?! I am doing well in the class – but that’s the only thing I’m doing. I’ve had barely any time for blogging, friends, exercise and relaxing, except for when I’m with my boyfriend. Luckily, I have practically no classes next week, so I can use it to catch up on chores, and make a plan that can help me balance everything without burning out. And catch up on a lot of blogging and reading, because that’s my favorite escape.

So remember how I usually share my favorite blog posts from the week now? Well, how many posts do you think I read this week? If you’ve guessed 0, congratulations! You’ve won a FREE hug from me!*

What I have experienced, however, is a touching response to my post about ‘6 Things You Should Never Say to a Person Dealing with Depression‘. I hope I’ll find time to write a proper response to each of your lovely comments over the weekend.

And I’ve of course stumbled over lots of cute animal videos! What can I say, it’s my guilty pleasure, and it instantly cheers me up! So I’m compensating for the lack of favorites in this post with cuteness! I hope you can forgive me 😉

Feel good Friday

Because cute animals are the key to happiness and I can pretend I?m being productive when I spend hours looking at puppies ? ?It?s for the blog!!!?

  • Hey gorgeous <3 What I do for self care is take long, hot baths with the lights out, burns candles and incense. and watch Netflix or read. I also really enjoy yoga for self care or doing some stretches. Writing is another thing I lean towards for self care. Hope you're doing well! xoxo

    • Thanks lovely <3 The weekend helphed a lot, already feeling a lot better. And I'm trying to get back into a routine of stretching, it always makes me body feel better. How was your weekend? x

  • Thank you! And you are not alone. This is the first time all week I’ve sat down to weed though my 100+ emails just from the blogging world. It is nice but I feel so behind. I guess 3 deep breaths and we try to enjoy. Finding balance 🙂 As I have yet to read your other post, I am off to do that now. Take care

    • Don’t take it the wrong way – but I’m kind glad to hear that. But because I sometimes feel like I’m the only one who can’t keep up with everything and is a failure – I need to remember it’s normal, and that we’re both awesome ladies <3

  • Girl, this is my first time on your blog, and I have to tell you, you’re hilarious!! I’m sticking around. Hope you have an amazing weekend. 🙂 Selfcare for me includes going out on walks and listening to audiobooks or podcasts. 🙂

  • When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I tend to turn my phone off for a few days and just watch a TV show (parks and rec haha)- it works for me to just get away from everyone for a little bit.

  • Oops- sent the comment without finishing it haha! Just wanted to say that I hope you’ve been having more time to relax and that your studies are going well x
